We received some great news today…
Nathan and Gabriel tested negative for 3 different auto-antibodies typically found in people with type 1 diabetes! While this is not a guarantee that they will never develop these antibodies in the future (Nathan had them in the past), it is joyous news to us in our fight against this relentless disease.
By the way, their c-peptide, Thyroid panel, HbA1c and Vitamin D levels were all within normal ranges too!
