Skeptical? You Should Be

HeConnection-ConnectedIf you are skeptical about the results you may achieve by changing to a diabetic-alkaline lifestyle, we understand completely. We had the same initial reaction, but we realized we had nothing to lose by eating healthy foods, and we may have a lot to gain. So we jumped into this lifestyle adventure and have not looked back. Over the last 4 years, we have made many changes, all toward better blood glucose control and practical, livable application in a world not very friendly to healthy living.

Here is a quote from a person who attended one of our workshops who addressed the skepticism of an inquirer:

“I can understand where you're coming from because, I must admit, I felt the same way at first. After all, we too had Dr. Young’s book, the PH Miracle for Diabetes, and in fact, when I wanted to book the workshop, my husband questioned why it was necessary to spend the money when we had the book and the internet and should just do it ourselves. But we were following the pH diet, and she still ended up in the hospital with DKA.

“The Romans have done their research, and it is more than just the alkaline diet. We are long-time vegetarians, and my daughter was lacto-vegetarian all her life. We have been involved in the health-food industries for years, and we ate only healthy, organic etc. But still it was not enough.

“The diet changed [our daughter’s] blood sugars THE FIRST DAY we implemented it. But it was also a big bonus for her to meet the Roman’s kids and to see on a very practical level how this could be implemented - she watched them cook, and generally witnessed and saw how healthy and determined they were. That was well worth it. I do not regret for one moment having spent the money and time with the Romans and wish with all my heart that everyone with T1 would give this a try.”

We do not regret having made our decision to live a healthier lifestyle either. We are deeply grateful to Dr Young for what he taught us. Upon that foundation, we have gone further to zero in on what we think is a natural practical, livable and sustainable way to manage blood sugars with diabetes, especially type one diabetes. Each person is unique and responds uniquely, but we believe all can benefit from eating and living a healthier lifestyle.

Our recipe e-books, workshops and home study course will teach you how to transform your lifestyle in a practical, livable way for long term sustainability, decreased potential for complications associated with diabetes and overall better health.

So if you are skeptical, we think you are wise. It is always good to do your homework before jumping into anything. This is no different. Just remember we are really only talking about eating healthy foods and living a more natural lifestyle.

As a former Registered Nurse, I could not have imagined how much food really does affect our health. Our two sons with Type 1 Diabetes are growing and thriving.
