The Baltimore Sun reported.
“We did not manage to find any evidence at the scene that indicated he had a medical diagnosis of diabetes,” medical examiner David Fowler said. “As far as we know, he was not diagnosed.”
Orlando Brown had a diabetic condition according to an autopsy performed on the former NFL player.
Friends of Brown told The Sun that he would have sought treatment if he had known he was ill.
“He would have taken care of himself to make sure he was around for his kids,” former Ravens linebacker Brad Jackson said.
Brown’s funeral was scheduled for Friday.
Health-e-Solutions comment: Just another reminder we should not take diabetes lightly, especially type one diabetes. Thankfully, it can be managed well with insulin for most people and if managed well, they can live a normal productive life. We are thankful that our boys have great prospects to do the same by living the diabetic alkaline lifestyle.
