Health-e-Recipe: Cilantro Pecan Sauce
This cilantro pecan sauce is a nice recipe from Ailsa in Canada. You can serve it on steamed vegetables, as a dip for raw veggies or as a sandwich spread. You can thin it down for salad dressing. Whichever way you use it, it is alkaline, raw, #VeryLowGlycemic, low in #InsulinDemand, and nutritious, adding a nice variety to your pallet for vegetables.
It should not cause blood glucose to spike, but, as with any new food, check blood glucose before and after eating to see what your individual response may be. It does contain tofu (should be non-GMO), so remember to keep your soy consumption down to not more than about twice per week.
