Learning Mindset Prevents Disappointment
Some people will tell you they know how to handle your disappointments. They will tell you that you need to set lower expectations, because when you don’t do well you will feel disappointed. So, you need to lower your standards.
No! Everything that has made a great impact has been by setting high standards and having high visions. There is nothing wrong with expecting a lot of ourselves.
Have high standards, high ideals, high visions and big dreams for yourself. Go for the gold, why not? There’s nothing wrong with that. However, understand that it is not going ever going to be perfect.
To know that the journey will take unexpected turns, to anticipate the struggle, to anticipate the hardship, to anticipate the learning allows you to decouple from the negative emotions associated with “disappointment”.
Perfect doesn’t happen – ever! We are always perfecting things, but we will never reach perfection. If you realize you will never reach perfection, then you should nor feel disappointment.
Having a learning mindset says, “I am going to decide today to stop pouring so much energy into this belief that these things are disappointing and instead, I am going to focus on, what I have learned. I am going to be excited about the learning.”
Having a learning mindset prevents you from being so disappointed because you are excited about the mastery being gained. Learn and get better next time.

We tend to limit health to nutritional, metabolic and exercise factors. Collectively, we haven’t quite made the connection that health is also given by who we are, how we think, what we feel and believe, how we conduct ourselves in the world. Mental, emotional, physical, social and spiritual factors, what we call our outlook on life, all play a tremendous role in developing the healthiest lifestyle for optimal #BloodSugarControl and long term success. Health is not just about what we do (diet, exercise, etc.). It is also about who we are at the deepest place of our being. This downloadable, printable special report on Improving Your Outlook is an essential resource for your long term success. It is often overlooked, but we have found that a person’s outlook on life greatly impacts their health, and health can greatly impact a person’s outlook. To #MasterDiabetesNaturally, your outlook on your condition is vital to success.
