Nutrition Information Added to Roman Diet Recipes

Recipe-e-books-Rays--Roman Diet RecipesWe added nutrition information for each recipe in our Ultimate and Liquid Assets recipe e-books from the Nutritiondata.self.com food table database. The information in Nutrition Data’s database comes from the National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference, which is maintained by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Our goal is to make it easier for you to count carbs and give macronutrient information to your health care team, when necessary. The information provided for each recipe includes per serving amounts of calories, fat, carbohydrate, fiber, net carbs, sugars and protein.

Here is how one happy mother of a daughter with type 1 diabetes described this improvement:

Dearest Dan & Sally,

Just a quick note to praise the addition of nutrition data to your Ultimate & Liquid Assets recipe books. My daughter and I spent hours a day, before meals, typing these recipes into nutritiondata.com so that we could determine this data to report it to our endocrinologist weekly. Many foods were not in the nutrition data database so we had the added responsibility of entering specific foods/ingredients along with data from their nutrition data label so that we could build the complete recipes nutrition information. Removing this chore from the newly diagnosed families shoulder is HUGE!  You have done a great service providing that info to your customers.  We praise God for you and pray for your family’s health.

With Much Appreciation,

Sandy
